Our focus on superior customer service has helped propel Top Hat to its current position as a leading Manhattan property management company. Our team's customer service strategy includes consistent communication with each homeowner, providing timely information, and the sharing of comprehensive details of work proposed, in progress, and completed. Top Hat has built a six-member Account Management Team along with a communication strategy that keeps clients informed about everything going on in their home.  Our goal is to provide clients with the information they need in order to make the best decisions on their home.  

Every client has a dedicated Account Manager and back-up.  Our comprehensive software system tracks everything done in a client's home with photos and detailed descriptions.  This system also provides our Account Managers and field staff easy electronic access to the pertinent information needed to solve problems and consolidate tasks for cost-efficient service efforts.  When a client contacts Top Hat, we not only have a record of the communication, we also have the information about every system and appliance in the home so we can respond to an issue or emergency in the best way.  A benefit of having a client tracking system like ours is that we are able to be proactive in scheduling required seasonal and yearly maintenance and service.  

It is the responsibility of each Account Manager to get to know you, your home, and be your advocate within Top Hat.  For those clients who need an on-site presence, we also have a Senior Account Manager who can provide an added level of support.

Vendor Management and Daily Operations Management


Top Hat prides itself on its relationships with our clients and our partner network. Our Vendor Relations Manager is focused on creating and maintaining these partnerships with companies that align with our mission to provide the highest level of service. Our Daily Operations Manager keeps our field team operating efficiently, ensuring the needs of all clients are met. This team is responsible to help coordinate the delivery of superior home maintenance services to our clients. This includes ensuring top quality home improvement talent, obtaining multiple quotes for each client’s job, negotiating the best prices, and confirmation that each vendor has appropriate insurance coverages. But we don’t stop there. We will check and double-check their procedures, making sure that they have procedures in place to safely work in our clients’ homes. Every part for every job is thoroughly researched and carefully monitored. 


New Client Onboarding & Project Management


Top Hat’s on-boarding process for new clients is second to none. As we get to know you, your family, your team, and your home we will customize our services to best support your unique needs. Superior project management is also one of the many benefits our clients enjoy, and to that end, Top Hat has recently added staff to increase our project management capabilities. As project manager, we coordinate all orders and deliveries as well as vendor or supplier billing. Should problems arise, they are ours, not yours. Innovative thinking by Top Hat’s staff can cure almost any issue. Our experts are often called in to consult on projects of all sizes. Top Hat’s know-how and integrity assure that your project is managed to perfection. We represent your interests in every way, ensuring that a renovation is completed according to the specifications of your contract and in keeping with Top Hat’s high standards.
